Jennifer Apperti

Deputy Director of the Tower Center

Jennifer Apperti holds a Master’s in Marketing from Charles III University of Madrid, a B.A. in International Business from Tec de Monterrey, and an Advanced Marketing Certificate from SMU Cox School of Business. She has managed the SMU Mission Foods Texas-Mexico Center since 2016, overseeing research grants and programming.

Previously, Apperti served as Cultural and Economic Attaché at the Mexican Consulate in Dallas, where she facilitated a large sculpture exhibition and launched a U.S.-Mexico Internship Program. She also worked as a Political Affairs Officer at the Mexican Embassy in Uruguay and was a Political Analyst in Mexico’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In the private sector, she gained experience in exports at Palos Garza Freight Forwarding and M&G Polymers.

Fluent in English and Spanish, Apperti also speaks Italian, French, Portuguese, and German. She is a Board Member of Rosa es Rojo, a Dallas nonprofit focused on cancer prevention and wellness education for Hispanic women.
